I’m a Musician.
Music
I grew up with my dad’s drums set up in our tiny living room. He insisted I learn to play and I half-resented him for it. The other half was grateful because I secretly loved music. So I taught myself to play guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, and Irish penny whistle. Either because I grew up with my dad’s drum beats or because music is in my DNA, I can’t help but play the blues, jazz, folk, and any other kind of music that strikes my fancy.

In Concert
When I perform or record I know people are busy and often weary. So I put everything I have into singing and playing my heart out. I want to give them everything I have. If I can get people singing along, maybe even up on the dance floor, smiling and laughing, it becomes bigger than just me or even the band. It’s like the entire room, the musicians and the audience are in concert.
